Warranty Terms

1. Yara Electronics Private Limited having its registered office at PVG Towers, 473 Avinashi Road ,Peelamedu Coimbatore Tamil Nadu-6041004, hereinafter referred to as “Company” warrants that the products sold under the “Yara” brand, as mentioned in the Annexure A available in our website (“Product”), shall be free from any manufacturing defect for a period mentioned below from the date of purchase mentioned on the purchase invoice (“Warranty Period”) by the end user (“Customer”) on the following terms and conditions.
2. The warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the product only and is not transferable. Warranty shall be void if seal/serial number is tampered, mutilated, defaced or damaged.
3. A valid tax invoice containing the product serial number or proof of purchase is mandatory for claiming warranty service. Quotations/Estimates, etc are not valid.
4. Repairs under the warranty period shall be carried out by the company’s authorised personnel only. If repairs are carried out by unauthorised persons, the warranty becomes void.
5. Warranty is not covered if the product failed due to factors like, but not limited to, waterlogging, misuse, mishandling, electrical issues, etc., while in transit to the service center or to the purchaser's residence. The warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, power surges, or unauthorized modifications.
6. Normal wear and tear, such as fading, scratches, or cosmetic damage, and consumable parts like batteries, lint filter, cables, or accessories are not covered unless explicitly mentioned in the warranty.
7. The company shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience, or damage that may result from use or inability to use the product or damage exceeding the purchase price of the product.
8. The purchaser must ensure proper usage and maintenance of the product as per the user manual to claim warranty. Damage arising from improper handling, installation, or failure to follow operating instructions will not be covered under warranty. The product is suitable for residential purposes only and not for commercial or industrial use.
9. Any defect in the electrical installation or wiring at the site has to be rectified by the Customer as per the recommendation of the Company's engineers. The Company is not responsible for any liability, including fire, shocks, etc., arising because of improper wiring / voltage fluctuations at the site.
10. Where applicable, it is the Customer's responsibility to backup any contents stored in the Product before it is sent to the Company authorized service center for servicing. The Company shall not be responsible for any damage or modification or loss of data or any other information stored in the Product.
11. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing a replacement of parts only, and the customer is not entitled to a replacement of the product. The maximum claim, if entertained by the company, will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.
12. While the Company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it is, however, made explicitly clear that the Company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
13. The time taken for repair and in transit, whether under the warranty or otherwise, shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
14. Any change of address by the original purchaser shall be intimated to the concerned Authorised Service Center by the purchaser for removal & installation on a chargeable basis, and the warranty will be applicable only after inspection of the unit and clearance of its condition by Authorised Service Center personnel.
15. It is an obligatory condition of this warranty that any changes in the location of the unit or ownership thereof must be intimated in writing to the company in advance, and only the Company authorized dealer/service center shall remove and install the units on a chargeable basis.
16. Calls registered with the Centralized Helpline/Authorised Service Center, wherein only cleaning of the unit/parts in the unit due to dust gathering on portions of the unit, general explanations, returning, or particular software not being read/installed, are not to be construed as defects. The company does not undertake responsibility for the quantity of software and third-party applications being used by purchasers.
17. Any software/media which does not conform to the specifications mentioned in the operating manual, playability of such media is not warranted by the Company. Also, the company is not responsible for the malfunction of third-party/downloaded apps & software.
18. In the event of any unforeseen circumstance and spares not being available, the company’s prevailing depreciation rules available on our website will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs, the depreciation rules as per Annexure B (available in our website) will be applicable.
19. In the event of the company offering an EXTENDED WARRANTY period for any specific product/period, it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER to get the warranty card duly registered with the nearest Authorised Service Center of the company within 2 weeks of purchase under such an offer, at the purchaser’s cost and risk only.
20. In case of damage to the product or misuse detected by Authorised Service Center personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable, and repairs will be done subject to the availability of parts and on a chargeable basis only.
21. While carrying out repairs, the company may use accessories or parts that are new or repaired or reconditioned.
22. In the event of repairs to any parts of the unit, this warranty will continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty.
23. Software updates are not included in the warranty. The company is not responsible for any glitches or product failures that may arise due to software updates not supported by the company.
24. The company guarantees to the purchaser that this product carries a warranty for the period as mentioned in Annexure 'A' commencing from the date of purchase. The company will repair free of charge any parts of the product if the defect is due to faulty material or manufacture defect.
